Under the SRCA, manufacturers can be held liable for twice the amount of an unpaid commission or up to $100,000, whichever is less. Under the terms of the SRCA, manufacturers must not only pay the value of a commission but twice the amount of its original value. As a result, an unpaid commission of $30,000 could cost a supplier or manufacturer $90,000: $30,000 for the original amount, and $60,000 for double the amount of the commission's original value.
